Job Description

A sales executive is responsible for driving company sales by identifying new business prospects, managing relationships with existing clients, and closing deals. Key duties include prospecting for leads, presenting and demonstrating products or services, negotiating contracts, and working to meet sales targets. They also maintain client records, report on performance, and stay updated on market trends. Key responsibilities

Prospecting and lead generation:

Find new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and market research.

Client relationship management:

Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Sales presentations:

Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.

Negotiation and closing:

Negotiate contracts and terms to successfully close sales deals.

Target achievement:

Work to meet or exceed monthly or annual sales quotas and targets.

Reporting and administration:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions, often using a CRM system, and provide performance reports to management.

Market awareness:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

Event participation:

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote products and generate leads.
