Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

Finding and contacting potential clients through cold calling, networking, social media, and market research.

Client Engagement:

Meeting with clients virtually or in-person to present products or services and demonstrate features.

Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Sales & Negotiation:

Presenting tailored solutions, negotiating contract terms, and closing sales to meet company revenue goals.

Market Analysis:

Conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Reporting & Performance:

Tracking sales activities, generating performance reports, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Event Participation:

Attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company and generate leads.

Internal Collaboration:

Working with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Required Skills

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch products and negotiate.

Negotiation:

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals for both the client and the company.

Product Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of the company's products or services to effectively meet client needs.

Persuasion:

The ability to persuade clients by connecting product benefits to their specific needs.

CRM Proficiency:

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing client records and tracking progress.

Interpersonal Skills:

Building trust, establishing rapport, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Typical Sales Cycle

Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential customers.

Pitching: Contacting prospects and presenting the product/service.
