About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive with 1-3 years of proven experience in software product sales. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent customer-handling capabilities, and a passion for helping manufacturing businesses adopt modern technology solutions.

Experience in selling manufacturing/ERP/industry software will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and reach out to potential manufacturing industry clients through cold calls, emails, field visits, and networking. Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects. Conduct initial requirement understanding calls with prospects.
2. Product Demonstration

Deliver clear and engaging product demos to clients in English and Malayalam. Explain product features, workflows, and benefits in a convincing and customer-friendly manner. Coordinate with the technical/solution team for customized demos when required.
3. Sales Closures

Understand customer pain points and provide suitable product solutions. Handle objections effectively with strong convincing skills. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Client Relationship Management

Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers. Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals. Ensure high customer satisfaction and gather feedback for product improvements.
5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate sales reports, lead details, follow-ups, and deal status in CRM tools. Provide weekly updates to the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in software sales or solution selling. Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam. Working proficiency in Hindi is a plus. Experience in selling manufacturing software / ERP software is highly preferred. Excellent convincing and negotiation skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and map them to product capabilities. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of CRM tools, MS Excel, and proposal preparation. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good-to-Have Skills (Recommended)

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, or ERP workflow. Understanding of SaaS products and subscription-based sales. Experience conducting field visits to factories or industrial units. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup-like environment. Pleasant personality and professional etiquette.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of new leads generated per month. Demo-to-deal conversion rate. Monthly/Quarterly revenue targets. Client retention and satisfaction. Quality of documentation and CRM updates.
