As a Sales Executive specializing in selling laptops and tablets to government officials, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in government departments and agencies. You will promote and sell a range of laptops and tablets, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of government clients. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective sales strategies and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and engage with government officials and departments to introduce and promote laptops and tablets.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including procurement officials, IT managers, and department heads.
Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base within government sectors.
Proposal and Tender Management: Prepare, submit, and follow up on proposals and tenders, ensuring compliance with government procurement processes and regulations.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to government clients, highlighting the benefits, features, and specifications of laptops and tablets.
Market Intelligence: Monitor government procurement trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales performance. Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager on sales activities and progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with government procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of selling IT products, preferably laptops and tablets.
Skills: Strong understanding of government procurement processes and decision-making structures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Knowledge of the latest laptop and tablet technologies and trends.
