He is responsible for driving hotel revenue by identifying new business opportunities, securing bookings for accommodations and event spaces, and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Business Development:
Actively identify and solicit potential clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and social groups. This includes cold-calling and attending industry events to expand the hotel's reach.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
Sales and Negotiation:
Create customized proposals, negotiate contract terms and pricing, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
Presentations and Site Inspections:
Plan and conduct persuasive sales presentations and hotel site inspections to showcase the hotel's facilities, services, and amenities.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Coordination and Reporting:
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, operations, revenue management) to ensure client needs are met and the guest experience is seamless. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent post-sale support and resolve any client issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Proven sales experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and persuasive manner.
Negotiation:
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills:
Self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, and a collaborative team player with strong time management and organizational skills.
