Job Description

We are hiring experienced Sales Executives / Sales Engineers to expand our industrial sales operations inin Hospet / Bellary area and Barbil region

The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of proven experience in selling industrial equipment, mechanical components, and consumables such as bearings, motors, pumps, conveyor products, machinery spare parts, and related items to large industrial clients.

This role requires strong technical understanding, customer relationship management, and the ability to generate consistent business from steel plants, mines, thermal power stations, and heavy industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

Identify and acquire new customers across steel, mining, and power sectors.

Promote a wide range of industrial products such as bearings, drives, motors, pumps, conveyor components, mechanical spares, consumables, etc.

Conduct regular visits to customer sites, procurement departments, and maintenance teams.

2. Client Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with maintenance heads, purchase managers, plant engineers, and other key decision-makers.

Understand customer requirements and recommend the right product solutions.

Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, orders, and deliveries.

3. Sales Target Achievement

Generate inquiries, convert leads, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Maintain and grow business volume from existing clients.

4. Market & Product Knowledge

Stay updated on product specifications, competitor offerings, price trends, and sector-specific requirements.

Understand technical features of products (bearings, motors, pumps, conveyor systems, etc.) to explain value to customers.

5. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily/weekly reports on customer visits, enquiries, quotes, and sales closures.

Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, logistics, invoicing, and after-sales support.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or Engineering product sales.

Experience selling to Steel plants (JSPL, Tata, JSW, etc.), Mines, Thermal Power Stations, and Heavy Industries is preferred.

Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) preferred. Graduates with technical sales experience may also apply.

Strong understanding of industrial components and maintenance applications.

Skills Required

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Technical understanding of industrial equipment.

Ability to build strong customer relationships.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and disciplined.

Proficiency in email writing, quotation preparation, MS Excel, etc.

Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
