The in-house sales executive is responsible for handling customer orders, sales coordination, order processing, and internal sales support activities. The role ensures smooth communication between customer, production, dispatch, and accounts teams to enable timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Receive and process sales orders from customers.
Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and order confirmations
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for order feasibility and timelines.
Track order status and ensure timely dispatch.
Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers for order-related communication.
Handle customer queries related to products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
Share order updates, dispatch details, and invoices with customers.
Maintain sales records, customer master data, and order details in ERP/Excel.
Coordinate with the accounts team for billing, payment follow-ups, and credit control.
Work closely with production, quality, dispatch, and accounts departments for smooth execution of orders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing approvals, and dispatch procedures
Track pending orders, dispatch status, and outstanding payments.
Share timely updates with sales manager and management.
Follow internal SOPs related to sales, pricing, and customer communication.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and pricing information.
Skills Required:
Good communication and negotiation skills
Basic understanding of heating products/items
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation
Detail-oriented and organized
Willingness to learn
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
2 - 5 years of experience of in-house sales / sales coordination / back-office sales role.
