Job Summary:



The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for generating new business from direct customers for solar EPC projects across Gujarat. The role includes lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, follow-ups, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution from inquiry to project completion.

1. Direct Customer Sales & Lead Management



Identify and generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and marketing activities. Meet residential, commercial, and industrial clients to understand their solar requirements. Deliver company presentations, conduct site assessments, and explain technical and commercial offerings. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.

2. Business Development & Order Conversion



Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and technical solutions for clients. Negotiate pricing, terms, and finalize orders with direct customers. Work closely with the Execution team for Product availability. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive sales efforts.

3. Project Coordination & Execution



Support customers in documentation, approvals, and registration on solar portals (DISCOM / GEDA / MNRE). Coordinate with Execution teams for timely project installation. Monitor project progress, handle client communication, and resolve any issues. Assist in payment follow-ups & collections, and project completion documentation.

4. Reporting & Administration



Maintain updated records of leads, inquiries, proposals, orders, and project status. Submit weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the management. Provide insights on customer trends, competitor pricing, and market opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills. Good understanding of Solar EPC systems, net metering process, and subsidy approvals. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and solar portal handling (GEDA / DISCOM). Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Result-driven with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Qualifications & Experience:



Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Energy Engineering; any Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred). Experience: 1-4 years of experience in Solar EPC sales, direct customer handling, or on-field sales. Location Preference: Must be willing to travel across Gujarat.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
