. The role involves generating new business, managing key customer accounts, and ensuring consistent sales growth within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
dealers, distributors, plumbers, contractors, architects, and builders
.
Achieve monthly and annual
sales and collection targets
as assigned.
Visit project sites, conduct market surveys, and generate leads from potential clients.
Promote company products through product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close profitable sales.
Monitor
competitor activities
, pricing trends, and market developments.
Coordinate with the
production, logistics, and accounts
teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and submit
daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Proven sales experience in
PVC, UPVC, CPVC, or other building materials
.
Strong
networking and relationship-building skills
within the construction/materials industry.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
abilities.
Self-motivated and target-oriented with a passion for field sales.
Good knowledge of
local markets
and customer behavior.
Basic proficiency in
MS Office
and CRM tools (if applicable).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in
Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering
, or a related field.
2-5 years
of relevant sales experience in
building materials / pipes & fittings / construction products
.
Must possess a
valid driving license
and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
