We are looking for a motivated

Business Development Executive

to join our marine sales team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting sales operations, conducting market research, and driving new business opportunities across the marine and shipbuilding sectors.

Role Summary:



The

Business Development Executive

will assist in identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships and supporting sales activities related to marine electronics and automation. The role involves close coordination with sales managers, preparation of sales documentation and conducting market and competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct

market research

and analysis to identify potential customers and new business opportunities in the marine and shipbuilding industry. Support the sales team in preparing and following up on

quotations, proposals, and sales orders

. Conduct

client meetings

with shipowners, shipyards, vessel managers, and system integrators to promote Maritronics products and services. Maintain and update customer databases, CRM entries, and sales documentation. Coordinate with

shipyards, vessel operators, and marine suppliers

for inquiries and project requirements. Assist in

tracking sales performance, forecasts, and reports

for management review. Handle basic customer communications and coordinate responses in a timely and professional manner. Support the

after-sales coordination

process, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely updates. Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and customer visits to support sales initiatives. Work closely with the service and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution and delivery.

Requirements:



Education:

Any Graduate.

Experience:

Fresher or 2 to 5 years in sales coordination, business development, or marine equipment sales.

Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills (English & Hindi mandatory; Tamil preferred). Good understanding of the

marine / shipbuilding / offshore

industry. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Analytical mindset with good research and reporting abilities. Strong organizational and coordination skills.
