The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring consistent supply and distribution of fruits and vegetables to retail outlets, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and other clients. The role involves field visits, order generation, and coordination with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and quality maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities with retail shops, hotels, restaurants, caterers, and wholesalers.
Visit clients regularly to take orders, promote new products, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of sales, customer information, and market feedback.
Collect market intelligence on pricing, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
Ensure product quality and freshness standards are met during delivery.
Support promotional and marketing activities in assigned areas.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of fruits and vegetables varieties, grading, and pricing.
Excellent field sales and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Basic computer knowledge for order entry and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
+2, or any bachelor degree.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the agri-produce / FMCG / fruits & vegetables / food distribution sector.
License:
Two-wheeler with valid driving license is mandatory.
