*2-5 years of experience in Earthmoving/construction equipment sales.
Identify potential customers in construction, mining, road projects, infrastructure, and rental sectors.
Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, trade shows, and networking with contractors & builders.
Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets for machines and attachments.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
Act as a point of contact between the company and clients for sales, service, and support.
Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and strategies.
Share inputs with management to develop better sales strategies.
Work closely with service and spare parts teams for after-sales support.
Coordinate with finance for customer loan/lease approvals.
Maintain records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of earthmoving/construction equipment.
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Technical understanding of machines and ability to explain features.
Customer relationship management.
Market awareness & competitor tracking.
Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Civil Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).
MBA in Sales/Marketing (added advantage).
2-5 years of experience in earthmoving/construction equipment sales.
