The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales of Volvo construction machinery (Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Graders, Compactors, etc.) within the assigned territory. The role requires strong product knowledge, field sales experience, customer relationship management, and the ability to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for Volvo machines.
Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and site surveys.
Promote the complete portfolio of Volvo CE products and solutions.
Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, mining operators, infrastructure companies, and fleet owners.
Provide product presentations, machine demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Assist customers in machine selection based on application and site requirements.
3. Negotiation & Finalization
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and machine comparison sheets.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment schedules within dealership guidelines.
Coordinate with finance partners for loan/lease requirements.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with service, parts, and logistics teams for machine delivery and commissioning.
Ensure timely documentation, including purchase orders, invoicing, and delivery notes.
Maintain daily/weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and competitor activity reports.
5. After-Sales Support
Ensure smooth handover of the machine and customer training.
Follow up on customer satisfaction, machine performance, and AMC/enquiry conversion.
Support customer retention and repeat business opportunities.
