Job Description

A car sales executive, also known as a car salesperson or automotive sales representative, sells and leases new and used vehicles at a dealership. Their responsibilities include:

Understanding customers: Ask questions, listen, and understand a customer's needs, interests, and budget Matching customers with cars: Suggest trade-ins and present car options that meet a customer's needs Demonstrating vehicles: Explain vehicle features, warranties, and services, and take customers on test drives Closing sales: Negotiate prices, overcome objections, and complete sales contracts Maintaining the showroom: Assist with the setup and display of vehicles Updating knowledge: Participate in training courses, read professional publications, and stay up to date on new products and services Providing sales management information: Complete reports and follow up on post-delivery items Improving dealership reputation: Accept ownership for requests and enhance the dealership's reputation
