Sales Executive – Café/coffee Shop

Job Description

The Sales Executive plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience, driving product sales, and supporting the growth of the cafe/coffee shop. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a good understanding of food and beverage offerings, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and promoting the brand.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Customer Engagement & Service



Greet customers warmly and assist them in making menu selections. Provide detailed information on coffee blends, food items, and daily specials. Ensure a welcoming and efficient experience to encourage repeat business.

2. Sales & Upselling



Actively promote high-margin or seasonal items to maximize revenue. Suggest add-ons (e.g., desserts, snacks, beverages) based on customer preferences. Meet or exceed daily/weekly sales targets.

3. Product Knowledge & Presentation



Maintain deep knowledge of the cafe's menu, ingredients, and preparation methods. Educate customers on specialty drinks, brewing methods, and new arrivals. Ensure product displays are attractive, clean, and well-stocked.

4. Order Management & Coordination



Take accurate orders and ensure smooth coordination with baristas and kitchen staff. Handle billing, POS system operation, and cash/card transactions. Manage takeaway and delivery orders efficiently.

5. Customer Relationship Building



Build rapport with regular customers to foster loyalty. Collect feedback and relay suggestions to management for service improvement.

6. Support Marketing & Promotions



Assist in implementing in-store promotions, loyalty programs, and festive offers. Distribute flyers, coupons, or digital promos as directed.
