Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating business from B2B customers such as contractors, builders, consultants, industries, and government organisations. The role requires strong product knowledge in electrical items, understanding of customer requirements, and the ability to close high-value technical sales.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, develop, and manage B2B clients including electrical contractors, EPC companies, builders, and industrial customers. Promote and sell electrical products such as lighting, cables, panels, poles, switchgear, earthing systems, or related solutions. Generate inquiries through field visits, cold calling, networking, and follow-ups. Prepare and submit quotations, technical datasheets, and commercial proposals. Coordinate with technical and project teams to understand specifications and requirements. Conduct product presentations and discussions with consultants and project decision-makers. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining healthy margins. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently. Monitor ongoing projects and ensure timely order execution and payment collection. Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities. Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends in the electrical industry. Build long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (preferred). 1-5 years of experience in B2B electrical sales (lighting, poles, switchgear, cables, industrial electricals, etc.). Strong understanding of electrical products and project-based selling. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to interpret BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication. Willingness to travel for client and site visits.
