Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, self-driven, and customer-oriented
Sales Executive
to lead field sales initiatives for our agriculture machinery division. The candidate will be responsible for expanding market reach, promoting farm equipment, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in the Raipur region. This role demands extensive field visits, direct interaction with farmers and dealers, and continuous market monitoring. Freshers who are interested in agricultural field sales and willing to learn and grow are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Sales & Business Development
Conduct daily field visits across Raipur and nearby rural/agriculture zones to promote agricultural machinery.
Meet farmers, dealers, retailers, and distributors to understand their machinery requirements.
Actively generate leads through market visits, field demonstrations, relationship building, and referral networks.
Present and explain product features, benefits, technology, and competitive advantages during field interactions.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through systematic planning and follow-ups.
Expand product visibility and brand presence in the assigned territory.
2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Establish long-term relationships with farmers, machinery buyers, and dealership networks.
Provide customers with product demonstrations, pricing details, EMI options, and service support information.
Understand customer needs and suggest suitable equipment or attachments based on their farming type and land requirements.
Address customer queries, doubts, or objections with confidence and clarity.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely coordination, support, and follow-ups.
3. Field Demonstrations & Product Promotions
Organize and participate in on-field machinery demonstrations, village-level campaigns, and agriculture fairs.
Collaborate with local dealers to promote new products and seasonal campaigns.
Conduct live demos to showcase machine performance, fuel efficiency, capabilities, and ROI for farmers.
4. Market Research, Analysis & Reporting
Continuously gather insights about market conditions, crop patterns, farmer preferences, and competitor activities.
Monitor competitor machinery pricing, offers, schemes, and product variations.
Submit daily field visit reports, lead status updates, customer data, and sales documentation to the management team.
Share feedback with the product and marketing team to improve offerings and customer experience.
5. Coordination & Operational Support
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and service teams for timely delivery and installation of machinery.
Support customers through the buying process--quotation, documentation, purchase decisions, and payment follow-ups.
Ensure proper after-sales coordination by involving service technicians and support staff.
Participate in internal training programs to stay updated on product knowledge and market developments.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Any graduate; preference for candidates with agriculture, rural management, or mechanical background.
Experience:
Freshers with strong interest in field sales can apply.
Experienced candidates with exposure to agriculture machinery, tractors, implements, or related equipment are preferred.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of farm machinery and agriculture practices is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
Good negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in field conditions.
Strong follow-up and reporting habits.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively across Raipur and the surrounding areas.
Having a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is highly preferred.
Comfortable with outdoor, on-field work and direct customer interaction.
Working Hours:
10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Field Work Based - timing may vary depending on field visits)
