Role Overview
As part of Packt's growing business in India, we're expanding our academic content sales by strengthening our team with passionate and proactive Sales Executives. These roles will focus on institutional sales across academic institutions and universities in assigned regions, helping drive Packt's mission by ensuring institutions gain access to high-quality, up-to-date digital content in technology and computing.
Reporting to the Regional Business Head, the Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, conducting meetings and demos, maintaining relationships with institutional stakeholders, and closing deals that drive mutual value. This role suits someone who has experience in academic or STM publishing sales, understands the academic sales cycle, and enjoys engaging with stakeholders like librarians, faculty members, and department heads.
We are also open to fresh graduates in Science or Computer Science with a strong interest in publishing and sales, who are eager to learn and willing to travel extensively.
