About the Role
We are hiring an experienced and dynamic
Sales Person
to represent our dairy products to
restaurants, sweet shops, caterers, hotels, cafes, and other food businesses
. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, excellent market knowledge, and an existing network of contacts in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and manage sales of milk and dairy products (e.g., paneer, curd, ghee, butter, fresh milk, flavored milk, etc.) to food businesses.
Build and maintain relationships with
restaurant chains, sweet shops, caterers, hotels, food manufacturers, and wholesalers
.
Identify and target new business opportunities to expand market presence.
Conduct regular visits to clients for order follow-ups, product sampling, negotiations, and relationship management.
Present product offerings, pricing structures, and customized solutions to business customers.
Develop strategies to increase sales volume and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
Handle customer queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure smooth delivery and after-sales service.
Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions, customer preferences, and industry trends.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
Maintain proper records of sales visits, orders, collections, and customer accounts.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong network and contacts within the
food businesses market
(restaurants, sweet shops, caterers, etc.).
Proven sales abilities with at least
3 years of experience in food product sales
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Good understanding of dairy products and food service requirements.
Ability to work independently, manage field sales, and meet targets.
High energy, market awareness, and a customer-first attitude.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (Marketing or Food Technology background is an advantage).
Experience
Minimum 3 years of sales experience
in the
food industry
, especially selling to restaurants, sweet shops, HORECA, or institutional clients.
Compensation
Salary negotiable
based on experience, industry connections, and past performance.
