The Sales Executive (Route Sales) is responsible for driving sales growth by visiting assigned routes, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and identifying new sales opportunities. The role involves managing product distribution, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Visit assigned routes daily to sell products and services.
Identify potential customers and convert leads into sales.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or complaints.
Ensure timely delivery of products and follow up on payments.
Merchandising & Product Management:
Ensure proper product placement and visibility at retail outlets.
Monitor stock levels and suggest reorders to prevent shortages.
Gather market feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and client interactions.
Submit daily/weekly sales reports to the sales manager.
Track competitor activities and report market trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in route sales or FMCG.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with sales software and CRM tools is an advantage.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
