Job Title: Jewellery Sales Staff

Reports To: Showroom Head

Job Summary:

The Jewellery Sales Staff is responsible for assisting customers in choosing jewellery items, providing excellent service, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while maintaining the store's professional image and product display standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

Welcome and assist customers in selecting jewellery according to their preferences and budget. Provide accurate information about jewellery pieces, including materials, designs, and care instructions. Promote and upsell products to achieve individual and store sales targets. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints courteously and efficiently.

Store Maintenance & Operations:

Ensure jewellery displays are clean, attractive, and well-organized. Follow all security and handling procedures for high-value items. Assist in daily stock management, including receiving, tagging, and arranging products. Operate billing systems accurately and maintain transaction records.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits. Support customer loyalty programs and maintain customer contact records for follow-up.

Teamwork & Professional Conduct:

Work collaboratively with other staff to achieve overall store goals. Maintain professional grooming and adhere to company dress code standards. Participate in product and sales training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Education:

Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or above.

Experience:

Freshers are welcome; prior experience in retail, jewellery, or customer service is an added advantage.

Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant personality with a customer-focused attitude. Basic knowledge of sales techniques. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment. Basic computer skills (POS operation, billing, etc.).

Work Environment:

Retail showroom setting. Requires standing for long periods. Flexible to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹40,847.94 per month
