Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined
Sales Engineer
to drive business growth in our Wood Panel Processing Machine Division. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering the right machinery solutions to customers in the woodworking and allied industries.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective customers in target industries.
Understand customer requirements and propose the most suitable machinery solutions.
Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations for customers.
Prepare customized proposals and solutions tailored to client needs.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to successfully close deals.
Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM.
Collaborate with marketing, service, and operations teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or related field).
Experience:
2-5 years in sales of capital equipment or industrial products.
Industry Exposure:
Suppliers of capital equipment, consumables, raw materials, tools, and ancillary units to the
modular interiors and skin/laminated doors industry
.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel across Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
