, serving diverse industries such as material handling, cement, steel, fertilizer, mining, packaging, and general engineering. We are expanding our market presence in the western region and are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and manage customers across the western region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa).
Promote and sell
engineered conveyor chains, industrial roller chains, and power transmission solutions
.
Identify new business opportunities, handle inquiries, provide technical support, and convert leads into orders.
Create and execute regional sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, end-users, and EPC contractors.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements, give product presentations, and follow up on offers.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication, support, and after-sales service coordination.
Technical & Commercial Responsibilities
Understand customer applications and recommend suitable chain solutions.
Prepare techno-commercial offers, quotations, and product specifications.
Work closely with the design/engineering team for customized chain solutions.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions as per company policy.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor products, pricing, and market developments.
Provide periodic MIS reports covering visits, inquiries, forecasts, and order updates.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
(preferred).
4 to 6 years of experience
in selling industrial products such as chains, sprockets, gearboxes, couplings, bearings, conveyors, or power transmission components.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical and industrial systems.
Proven track record in industrial/B2B field sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the western region.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
