Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Sales Engineer
to promote and sell
Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
such as lifts, hoists, cranes, stackers, and customized handling solutions. The role involves business development, technical discussions, site visits, and order closure for industrial and commercial clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
Sell material handling equipment including lifts, hoists, cranes, stackers, and customized solutions
Identify new business opportunities through leads, site visits, and market mapping
Understand customer material handling requirements and recommend suitable equipment
Conduct site inspections and gather technical details for proposal preparation
Prepare techno-commercial quotations and proposals
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients
Coordinate with design, production, installation, and service teams
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business
Handle post-sales coordination including installation and service support
Track sales pipeline, CRM updates, and sales reports
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Educational Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Electrical / Industrial Engineering candidates may also be considered
Experience
1-4 years of experience in industrial sales / capital equipment sales
Experience in material handling equipment, cranes, hoists, lifts, or industrial machinery preferred
Key Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of material handling equipment
Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications
Good communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills
Willingness to travel for site visits
