We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to drive business development, manage key client relationships, and handle techno-commercial sales activities. The role requires strong technical understanding, customer engagement skills, and the ability to meet sales targets in the irrigation, water treatment, or STP segment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential customers through various sources and introduce the complete product range
Generate enquiries and handle preliminary engineering, costing, and tender/offer preparation
Manage techno-commercial discussions and negotiations with clients and consultants
Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their requirements
Persuade clients on product suitability in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery
Negotiate tender and contract terms to align client and company expectations
Follow up for technical approvals and clearances
Visit clients and consultants to present new products and design developments
Prepare quotations and administer client accounts
Provide pre-sales technical support and after-sales coordination
Prepare sales reports and meet assigned sales targets
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
Required Skills
Strong product knowledge in
valves
(mandatory); electromechanical equipment is an added advantage
Business development and consultative selling skills
Technical understanding and requirement analysis
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Negotiation and client management skills
Innovative and solution-oriented mindset
Qualifications & Experience
3-8+ years of sales experience in Irrigation / Water Treatment / STP industries
Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical items such as
Pumps, Valves, Electrical Panels
, etc.
Engineering degree from a reputed institute

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
