: Sales Engineer - Packaging Machine Manufacturing Company



Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer /Sales Executive to join our team in the Printing, Packaging & Labelling machinery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent sales skills to provide tailored solutions to clients, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry. Generate leads through market research, networking, and attending industry events. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Technical Expertise:

Understand the technical aspects of Printing, Packaging & Labelling machinery and tailor solutions to meet customer needs. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the equipment. Act as a liaison between the customer and the technical team to ensure customized solutions and smooth implementation.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional support. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Market Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to the product development team to align machinery offerings with market demands.

Proposal and Contract Management:

Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements. Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure deals that are mutually beneficial.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and customer support, to ensure project success. Provide insights and feedback to improve product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the packaging machinery or related industry. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex machinery. Proven sales track record with excellent negotiation and closing skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
