to join our TMT Bars division. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding of TMT products, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in B2B industrial or construction material sales. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for building long-term business relationships, achieving sales targets, and promoting our TMT products to contractors, builders, structural engineers, project consultants, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Meet contractors, builders, developers, and procurement heads to promote and sell TMT bars.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Expand the customer base and penetrate new market segments.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and channel partners.
Provide technical guidance on TMT grades, specifications, and usage.
Handle customer queries, pricing discussions, and negotiations.
3. Market Analysis
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand.
Provide sales forecasts and reports to the management.
Suggest strategies to improve product visibility and sales performance.
4. Technical Support
Explain product specifications such as grade, strength, ductility, and applications.
Assist clients with product selection based on structural requirements.
Conduct site visits when required to understand customer needs.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with the production, dispatch, and logistics teams for order fulfillment.
Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and CRM updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Civil, or related field (Advantage).
1-5 years of experience in TMT bars, steel, construction materials, or industrial sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand technical data and product specifications.
Willingness to travel to client locations and project sites.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and customer-focused.
