This position essentially involves translating and explaining simple to sometimes highly complex technical information to customers and clients, focusing on revealing how our product / technology can solve their specific problems. They therefore play an important role in the modern sales process. Technology has advanced in leaps and bounds in recent years, and continues to alter the ways we communicate and do business. But not everyone has the time or know-how to keep up with these advancements. Therefore we need a person who is having this zeal to stays abreast of the latest developments and breakthroughs in industries, as well as technology side & continuously exchange this vital knowledge to client because we believe our maximum business comes by educating ourselves & our clients.
Roles & Responsibilities :
To act as the sales team's technical encyclopedia during the sale of goods and services.
Candidate shall provide clients with sales advice and support for different industries viz. Biotech, API, Chemical, Pharma in all manufacturing as well as utilities side.
Shall able to identify new business, negotiate contracts and review sales performance.
Candidate should be able to close the deal on their own.
Expected to deal at both corporate level also as well as with real time end users like client's production / maintenance & projects teams to explain our products know-hows & understand their concerns.
Collaborating with in-house design, production, engineering, or research and development departments of the company to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit the needs of the customer.
Selling and consulting on technologically and scientifically advanced products.
Self motivated & self disciplined candidate with very high flair to success in this techno-commercial sales field is require Shall report to superior on daily basis at HQ.
Desired profile of the candidate
Minimum pre-requisite from Ideal Candidate :
Prior experience in selling of capital equipment or projects is must
Shall have served as vendor to either one or all industries from following segments
Biotech, Biopharma, pharma or API/ Bulk-drug, Chemical
Shall posses a strong technical understanding of products what our company supplies together with excellent sales skill Have proven himself as successful sales person in selling equipment's to any of above industries with targets based jobs
