The Sales Engineer is responsible for the sales and marketing of industrial lubricant (oils, greases, specialty lubricants) as per assigned to you designated territory / Area. The ideal candidate have a excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Generate new business for industrial lubricants (oils, greases, specialty lubricants) in the assigned territory.
Identify potential industrial customers and convert them into long-term clients.
Conduct regular customer visits, understand their lubrication requirements, and recommend suitable products.
Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close orders.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers for repeat sales.
Coordinate with the logistics and technical teams for timely delivery and customer support.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities.
Prepare daily/weekly visit reports and maintain proper documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Automobile/Electrical Engineering.
2 to 5 years of experience in industrial lubricant sales.
Strong technical understanding of lubricants and industrial applications (hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils, etc.).
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand customer requirements and provide proper product solutions.
Self-driven, target-focused, and capable of working independently.
Willing to travel extensively for on-field sales activities.
Two-wheeler (mandatory).
