Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably within the plastic manufacturing or 3D CAD design industry. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and providing technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy:
Identify new B2B business opportunities in target industries.
Research market trends, competitors, and potential clients.
Develop marketing strategies tailored to industrial/manufacturing sectors.
Lead Generation & Business Development:
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
Approach OEMs, product developers, and SMEs with manufacturing requirements.
Convert inquiries into confirmed projects by highlighting company capabilities.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Act as the first point of contact for technical discussions, coordinating with the production/technical team.
Marketing & Branding:
Manage digital marketing (LinkedIn, website, email campaigns, B2B platforms).
Prepare marketing collaterals, presentations, and case studies.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
Coordination & Reporting:
Work closely with design, production, and finance teams to align on customer requirements.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and MIS for management review.
Manage CRM data, follow-ups, and sales documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
1-3 years of technical sales experience
Preferably worked in plastics, injection molding, or 3D CAD design environment
Knowledge of CAD tools like SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo will be an added advantage
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel locally for client meetings
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Passion for sales and business development
Technical understanding of plastic components or product design
Good problem-solving and client handling capability
