Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development



Identify and generate leads for

rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects

(Residential, Commercial, Industrial). Conduct

site visits

to assess client requirements and recommend appropriate solar solutions. Prepare and deliver

technical presentations, proposals, and financial models

to prospective clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with

customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders

. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed

monthly and quarterly sales targets

.

Technical Support & Coordination



Collaborate with the

design & engineering team

to prepare customized system designs and BOQs. Provide

technical support

to clients before, during, and after installation. Ensure

customer satisfaction

and manage post-sales service and support. Stay updated on

industry trends, MNRE/Government policies, and competitor activity

.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client communications, and sales progress in

CRM tools

. Provide regular

pipeline and target reports

to management.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in

Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics preferred)

. Proven track record in

B2B/B2C sales

, preferably in

Solar or Renewable Energy

. Good understanding of

solar PV systems, components, design, and performance

. Excellent

communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

. Self-motivated with a

go-getter attitude

and willingness to travel. Proficiency in

MS Office, CRM tools

; knowledge of basic

solar design software

is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes



Experience in

rooftop solar project sales

(2kW to 500kW+). Familiarity with

government policies, net metering, subsidies, and DISCOM processes

. Fluency in

English, Hindi, and Marathi

.
