We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales and Service Engineer to join our Metrology team. This role combines both technical sales and after-sales service responsibilities, involving the promotion, installation, maintenance, and support of precision measurement equipment and systems across a range of industries including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and research.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Responsibilities:
Promote and sell metrology equipment (e.g., CMMs, laser trackers, 3D scanners, optical systems) to industrial clients.
Identify customer needs and propose appropriate measurement solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals and follow up on sales leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and trade shows.
Service Responsibilities:
Install, calibrate, and commission metrology equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
Train end users on equipment operation and software (e.g., PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Zeiss CALYPSO).
Provide remote and on-site technical support.
Maintain service reports and customer documentation accurately.
