who will be responsible for driving product approvals and project specifications with
MEP consultants, architects, infrastructure consultants, government bodies, and major contractors
.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction ecosystem and the ability to explain technical features, standards, and compliance details of Ductile Iron and Cast Iron products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Approvals
Visit MEP consultants, architects, PMC firms, and government engineering departments to get BIC products specified in upcoming projects.
Secure product approvals, vendor registrations, and inclusion in BOQs.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, municipal bodies, and large infrastructure firms.
Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and specification meetings.
3. Project Tracking & Influence
Track upcoming projects in water supply, sewerage, drainage, smart city, commercial and residential real estate.
Influence decision makers at early stages of tendering and design.
4. Technical Support
Provide technical clarification on DI manhole covers, CI pipes & fittings, standards (IS, EN, ASTM), load classes, and installation practices.
Coordinate with design teams to support clients with drawings, load charts, and technical submissions.
5. Sales Coordination
Work with internal sales and production teams to ensure timely quotes, sample submissions, and order closure.
Maintain reports of visits, pipeline, and approvals in CRM.
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).
5-7 years of experience
in construction materials, infrastructure products, or project sales.
Prior experience interacting with consultants, architects, or government engineering departments is highly preferred.
