Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our comprehensive range of IT products and services, including Passive (cabling, infrastructure), Active (networking, servers), and Security solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for IT products and services within the assigned territories (Qatar, KSA & Oman ).
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
o Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business prospects.
o Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Technical Expertise & Solution Design:
o Possess a strong understanding of various IT product categories, including:
Passive IT:
Structured cabling systems (Cat6, Fiber Optic), data center infrastructure, racks, patch panels, etc.
Cybersecurity solutions, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, etc.
o Analyze client requirements and technical specifications to design and propose optimal IT solutions.
o Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
o Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical support teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and post-sales support.
Quotation & Negotiation:
o Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, factoring in product costs, services, and project requirements.
o Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.
Reporting & Collaboration:
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
o Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
o Collaborate effectively with internal teams including sales, technical, marketing, and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT) or a related technical field.
1-2 years of proven experience in IT product sales, pre-sales, or technical support roles, preferably with exposure to passive, active, and security IT solutions.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cybersecurity principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify customer needs and propose effective solutions.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel extensively within Qatar, KSA, and India as required.
Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage, especially for KSA and Qatar roles.
