Job Summary:



We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented

Sales Engineer

with a strong background in the industrial sector, especially in

Power, Oil & Gas, and Metal & Mining

segments. The candidate must have hands-on experience in handling large PSU accounts such as

NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, etc.

This role involves developing new business, managing key accounts, and driving sales of capital equipment, engineered products, or industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and develop new business opportunities in the

Power, Oil & Gas, and Mining sectors

Manage and nurture existing key accounts, especially major PSUs like

NTPC, IOCL, and others

Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers, follow up on tenders, and handle negotiations Coordinate with OEMs, internal teams, and partners for seamless order execution Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and technical discussions Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic inputs Meet and exceed sales targets and business development goals

Requirements:



B.E./B.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent

5+ years of experience

in industrial sales, preferably with exposure to

capital equipment / engineered products

Proven track record in dealing with

NTPC, IOCL, BHEL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, or similar PSUs

Strong network and contacts in the

industrial, power, and oil & gas

sectors Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Willingness to travel extensively across regions

Preferred:



Experience in handling

vendor registration, tendering, and order finalization

processes in PSUs Knowledge of

technical specifications, project sales, and after-sales coordination

MBA in Marketing (optional but preferred)

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards

Reporting To:

Regional Sales Manager / Business Head

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
