Sales Engineer (SE) Job Brief We are looking for a Sales Engineer (SE) to join our growing Head Quarters Team based out of India. The SE is responsible for technical solution activities and onboarding support for all BluSapphire offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding potential customer\'s functional needs and translating on how our platform offerings could be a fit. You will primarily work with the sales team, moving qualified opportunities from the demonstration stage through the closed-won stage. You will be proficient in the technical and functional aspects of our platforms and will advise on and design solutions for potential customers. The SE also needs to articulate and demonstrate BluSapphire solutions, position products, services relative to competition and engage in further solutioning activities. Responsibilities Develop and maintain expertise in feature functionality and functional application of all our solution offerings. Help companies across varying industries to understand and evaluate the technical capabilities of our products, leading evaluation cycles to gain product / solution fit consensus. Understand and interpret prospective customer functional, business requirements, delivering customized solution demonstrations to match customer\'s business outcomes. Design, validate and document technical / functional solutions to share with prospective customers. Collect and analyze feedback from prospective customers to influence roadmap, collaborating with product management, product marketing teams to meet our prospects\' business challenges and align with our internal business objectives. Participate in RFI/RFP process and respond to technical assessments. Onboard new customers, including training personnel Interface with our support organization, including training new customers on our KB system Write preliminary content around product competition & build whitepapers Creating status reports for management and other stakeholders Work independently Document Statement of Work aligned with client outcomes. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or correlated consulting role within the cybersecurity (SaaS or software) industry. Be knowledgeable on information security and networking fundamentals Security logging knowledge associated with Windows, UNIX, Firewalls, Email security, Cloud, etc. Knowledge of SIEM, EDR & NTA Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems Strong verbal, written communication & interpersonal skills Enterprise account experience ($500M - $1B companies) Self-motivated individual with high-level energy Comfortable with a fluid, fast-paced environment Track record of achieving sales goals Extensive travel (potentially 25% plus) Expected to work in early Eastern Time Zone Bachelor of Science in a technology-related field / MBA in Sales, Marketing is an added advantage. Onboarding Support to the Candidate: Detailed 30-60 Day Onboarding plan tagged along with a Mentor. You\'ll go through training on overall Cybersecurity market landscape & evolution. In-Depth Training associated with BluSapphire platform & Service functionalities. Detailed walk-through on collaterals, documentation Etc. Location: Hyderabad (IN)
