Job Description

Sales Engineer position blends technical expertise with sales skills to promote and sell complex products or services. A fresher or entry-level sales engineer will typically assist senior sales engineers and work towards building a strong foundation in both technical and sales aspects of the role. Key responsibilities of a sales engineer fresher:

Understanding and presenting products:

Learn the technical specifications, capabilities, and applications of the company's products or services to effectively explain their value to potential customers.

Assisting with sales and customer interaction:

Work closely with the sales team to support the sales process by conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical presentations, and responding to technical queries from potential clients.

Market research and lead generation:

Support market research efforts to identify potential clients and new business opportunities, and assist in generating leads.

Building customer relationships:

Learn to build rapport with clients and understand their specific needs to provide solutions that address their challenges.

Problem-solving:

Assist in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during the sales cycle or product implementation.

Documentation and reporting:

Help prepare sales proposals, technical documentation, and reports on sales activities and customer feedback.

Continuous learning:

Stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry trends through continuous learning and training.
Required skills and qualifications:

Educational background:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, electronics,instrumentation etc.), or a related technical field is usually required.

Technical knowledge:

Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about the products and technologies the company offers.

Communication skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Interpersonal skills:

The ability to build relationships, listen actively, and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Problem-solving and analytical skills:

Capacity to understand customer challenges and contribute to finding effective technical solutions.

Customer service skills:

A customer-focused approach and a desire to provide excellent support.

Motivation and drive:

Eagerness to learn, meet goals, and contribute to the sales team's success
