Job Description

Purpose of Job:

As a Sales Engineer at Techno Controls, you will serve as the key technical liaison between our engineering team and customers. Your role is to clearly communicate technical solutions that meet customer requirements and support their business goals. By leveraging your technical expertise and consultative approach, you will contribute to business growth through acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions.

Experience Required: 4 to 5 Years



Education Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech- Mechanical / Electrical



Roles and Responsibilities:



Customer Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients by regularly communicating to understand their business goals and technical challenges. Provide timely support and ensure their needs are met to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Technical Consulting



Analyze customer requirements in detail and recommend the best-fit technical solutions. Customize product features or configurations to solve specific customer problems, ensuring the solutions align with their operational needs.

End-to-End Sales Support



Manage all technical aspects of the sales process, including qualifying customer requirements, preparing detailed technical proposals, supporting contract negotiations by answering technical queries, and providing post-sale technical assistance to ensure smooth implementation.

Product Demonstrations



Conduct on-site and virtual product demos and proof-of-concept trials to showcase product capabilities, helping customers understand how the solution meets their needs and addresses their challenges.

Training & Development



Provide technical training sessions to sales teams and customers to enhance product knowledge, ensuring better product usage, increased sales effectiveness, and improved customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis & Feedback



Monitor competitor products and market trends regularly. Collect and relay customer feedback to the product management team to influence product improvements and sales strategies.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of sales leads, opportunities, and progress in the CRM system. Prepare sales forecasts and report sales performance to management for strategic planning.

Cross-functional Collaboration



Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction from pre-sales to post-sales stages.

Compliance & Documentation:



Ensure all sales-related documentation and activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations to minimize risk and maintain quality standards.

Travel



Travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows as required to support sales activities, build relationships, and stay updated with industry developments

Skills:



Strong technical knowledge in Electrical Mechanical, or Instrumentation engineering Excellent communication and presentation skills Customer-focused with strong relationship-building abilities Skilled in consultative selling and negotiation Awareness of market trends and competitors
