Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Technical Sales:

Identify potential clients and understand their technical requirements. Generate and follow up on leads to develop new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any technical queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage post-sales relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Proposal and Quote Management:

Prepare and present detailed proposals and negotiate pricing and payment terms. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost estimations and timelines. Manage the sales cycle from proposal to contract closure, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

Sales Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the system. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports for management review. Monitor and analyse sales metrics to refine sales strategies and optimize performance. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical) is preferred.

Experience:

5-8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the machining industry.

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge with an ability to convey complex concepts to clients, excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, self-motivated and results-driven.

Drawing Reading

- Understanding machining drawings specifically in tolerances and GDnT and experience with machining process like CNC turning CNC milling Surface grinding Cylindrical grinding and centreless grinding Honing Boring and facing operations Surface coating like Black oxidizing, gas nitriding, various hardening process, anodizing.

Technical Proficiency: Ability to estimate

cycle time calculations for machining process, in depth knowledge of GD&T

.

Allowance -

Daily travel allowance on per km basis Performance incentive
