Sales Engineer Sales engineers sell complex scientific and technological products or services to businesses. They must have extensive knowledge of the products\' parts and functions and must understand the scientific processes that make these products work. Position: Sales Engineers (Process Instrumentation) Qualification: B.Tech /B.E. - Electronics / Telecommunication / Instrumentation DIPLOMA - Electronics B.Sc., M.Sc. (Electronics) Experience: 2-4 years Location: Chennai Salary: 25 to 30 K The person should sell Gas Detector, Analyzer, etc. in the specified territories, forecasting, demonstration, installation, meeting aggressive sales targets. Must be go getter and having initiative to achieve business targets. The engineer gets trained on the job initially and later gets trained by the principals. Well versed with commercial terms and procedures. Extensive travel is a pre requisite. Desired Skills and Experience sales, marketing, negotiation, business development, customer relations, commercial, forecasting, demonstration Duties Sales engineers typically do the following: Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment. Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production. Help in researching and developing new products. Should have knowledge of Gas Analyser, Gas Detector, Portable instruments. Can travel anywhere in Tamil Nadu, Good knowledge in sales & marketing, having good communication skill, having good knowledge of product, taking independent ownership and manage execution of program delivery and other related tasks, end-to-end.
