Job Title Sales Engineer



As our Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle. Furthermore you will be responsible for researching, preparing and presenting technical product training designs to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement Axis video surveillance products.

This position will based in either Bangalore or Chennai, India.

Key responsibilities will include:

Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process to include delivering product demonstrations to customers

Collaborating closely with distributors and resellers to inform and update them on technical presales issues

throughout the project sales process

Develop written presales material with a technical focus

Conduct and lead monthly Axis Academy technical training courses for resellers and partners

Identify potential business opportunities when communicating with partners

Work and manage the relationship with integrators and software development partners

Support and maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s demo products and the Axis Experience Centre (AEC)

Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams for Axis & Partner Events

Any other duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 3-5 years work experience in similar capacity, preferably in the CCTV Network Security industry with experience in total Network Video Solutions
  • Proven pre-sales experience gained within the IT channel in a multinational environment,
  • Additional experience in video surveillance systems, audio network products, network access control systems, VMS software and hardware technology would be an advantage
  • Able to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels of people
  • Able to function efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure
  • Industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft with technical experience from CCTV business preferred
  • You will be required to travel domestically and internationally to Axis\xe2\x80\x99 offices in SAP and HQ in Sweden.
