JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MICE SALESEXECUTIVEA MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions)
SalesExecutive drives revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing new businessfor corporate events, conferences, and incentive programs. Keyresponsibilities include developing strategic sales plans, building and nurturingclient relationships, creating tailored proposals, coordinating with internalteams for seamless event execution, and achieving sales targets. The rolerequires strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, a deepunderstanding of the MICE market, and a customer-centric approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES? Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and acquire new corporate clients in the MICE segment throughstrategic outreach and networking. ? Sales Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenuetargets and maximize market opportunities. ? Proposal Development: Create tailored, compelling sales proposals that highlight the benefits of thecompany's MICE services to meet specific client requirements. ? Sales Execution: Deliver presentations to clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals tosecure new MICE business.
? Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as operations, product, and finance,to ensure the smooth and successful execution of events and meet clientneeds.
? Market Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and potential leads toidentify new opportunities.
? Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, update the CRM, and provide regular salesperformance and forecast reports to management.
? Client Satisfaction: Provide excellent customer service and address client queries to ensure highsatisfaction levels throughout the engagement process. KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS? Sales Expertise: Proven track record in MICE sales, with strong sales, negotiation, andpresentation skills.
? Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to communicate, build rapport, and manage clientrelationships effectively.
? Business Acumen: Strong business understanding, strategic thinking, and a customer-centricmindset.
? Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure in adynamic environment.
? Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)software.
? Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the MICE event management industry and a keeneye for current market trends.
? Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events(international / domestic)
