We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven
Sales Director
based in
Mumbai
to drive our B2B revenue growth in a fast-paced startup environment. In this role, you will be responsible for selling sophisticated marketing and intelligence solutions to Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, helping them engage with a highly targeted, verified audience of medical practitioners.
The Role
As the Senior Sales Lead, you will be a key driver of our Sales and Business team. You will focus on selling high-ticket annual subscriptions and customized digital solutions that allow Pharma clients to reach specific specialties, such as Oncologists and Cardiologists who are often difficult to access through traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Sales Management:
Lead all stages of sales outreach, from initial meetings to achieve project closure and managing annual renewals.
Strategic Solution Selling:
Consult with Pharma and Biotech clients to drive awareness and adoption of new drugs, treatments, and therapies.
Product Portfolio Mastery:
Effectively position
StarEast's
core revenue streams, including:
Targeted Marketing:
Sponsored content, clinical trial recruitment, and product news delivered to specific specialties or geographies.
Engagement Services:
Custom digital campaigns, webinars, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) programs through our Customer Experience Centers.
Market Intelligence:
Paid medical surveys on prescribing habits and data analytics on HCP behavior and discussion trends.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the
Customer Experience Team
to leverage HCP insights during pre-sales and ensure successful project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
10 to 15 Years experience
in business development or sales roles, specifically within agencies or companies providing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
Industry Experience:
Prior experience selling directly to
Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies
is a must.
Sales Excellence:
Proven track record in B2B business development, specifically selling high-ticket subscriptions and customized solutions.
Startup Agility:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving customer requirements.
Communication:
Strong ability to articulate value to clients and manage the entire digital journey of a brand.
