Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

to drive our outbound and inbound lead qualification efforts for

CPaaS and SaaS solutions

. The SDR will play a critical role in building a strong sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers across SMB, Enterprise and Mid-Market segments.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about

B2B tech sales

, enjoy interacting with customers, and want to build a long-term career in SaaS / CPaaS sales.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead Generation & Prospecting



Identify and prospect potential customers through

outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and inbound leads



Research accounts and stakeholders to understand business needs and communication challenges

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with target segments and industries

Lead Qualification & Discovery



Qualify leads based on

ICP, use cases, budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT)



Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer requirements

Position CPaaS/SaaS solutions such as

SMS, Voice, IVR, WhatsApp, Email APIs, Cloud Telephony, Automation platforms

, etc.

Meeting & Demo Coordination



Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives / Sales Managers

Ensure proper handover with clear documentation of customer requirements and context

CRM & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of all activities, interactions, and lead statuses in CRM

Track daily/weekly KPIs including calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement



Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams

Share feedback on lead quality, objections, and market insights

Stay updated on product offerings, pricing, and competitive landscape

Required Skills & Qualifications



1-3 years of experience

in SDR / Inside Sales / Lead Generation for

B2B SaaS or CPaaS



Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with

outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification



Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Freshsales, etc.)

Basic understanding of cloud-based products and APIs is a plus

Ability to handle objections and articulate value propositions

Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)



Prior experience selling

CPaaS solutions (SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, IVR, Call Center, APIs)



Experience working with SMB, Mid-Market, or Enterprise accounts

Knowledge of lead scoring and sales funnel metrics

Exposure to account-based selling or vertical-specific sales

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Number of qualified meetings/demos booked per month

Pipeline value generated

Lead-to-meeting conversion rate

Activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches)

Sales-qualified lead (SQL) acceptance rate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
