This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of a high-growth cybersecurity startup. The intern will work closely with our leadership team to contribute to various strategic initiatives and assist in driving the company's growth trajectory. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our commercial team. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in lead generation, sales prospecting, and communication skills within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and outreach.
Conduct outbound calls, social media and emails to prospects to initiate conversations and generate interest in our products/services.
Determine prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making authority.
Liaison with partners and customers
Communicate the benefits of cybersecurity solutions effectively.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted prospecting strategies.
Utilize CRM software to manage and track lead interactions and progress.
Assist in creating and optimizing sales collateral and email templates.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Do activity tracking and reporting
Who You Are
Currently enrolled (or immediate graduate) in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
A strong interest in technology and cybersecurity, with a willingness to stay informed of the latest trends and developments.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed in sales.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) is a plus.
Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is advantageous but not required.
Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn.
