Job Description

Fokus AI is an early?stage startup building an AI?powered technical interviewer designed specifically for coding interviews. Our mission is to help engineering teams evaluate developers faster, more accurately, and without bias. We're at the very beginning of our journey -- the product is being built, the market is wide open, and we're looking for our first Sales Development Representative to help us shape how we grow.

This is not a typical SDR role. You won't be handed a polished playbook or a full pipeline. Instead, you'll help create them. If you're excited by the idea of joining a startup at day zero, experimenting, learning fast, and influencing the foundation of our sales motion, you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Do



Build and refine outbound outreach from scratch

-- segmentation, sequences, messaging, and experimentation.

Use email, LinkedIn

, and cold calling to spark conversations with engineering leaders and recruiters.

Generate targeted prospect lists

and move leads through the pipeline toward early product demos. Create personalized communication for prospects to generate early interest and validate demand. Qualify prospects based on clear criteria and convert them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). Stay persistent and proactive in follow?ups, helping prospects understand our vision and roadmap. Use marketing content, case studies, and collateral as they are developed -- and help shape what we create next. Maintain CRM hygiene and prepare reports for daily and weekly sales discussions.

What We're Looking For



0-5 years of SDR experience

in B2B tech, ideally in a startup or fast?paced environment. A self?starter who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to help build something from the ground up. Excellent written and verbal communication; organized, detail?oriented, and reliable. A data?driven mindset with the ability to make decisions independently. Experience selling or supporting products with

$10K+ annual contract values

is a plus. A positive, energetic personality -- you bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a bit of humor to your outreach. Ability to learn new tools quickly and troubleshoot issues independently. Comfortable working with CRMs for outreach, reporting, and pipeline management.
