Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) who excels at building first
contact with potential healthcare clients. In this role, you will drive outbound outreach across calls, emails,
and digital channels to generate qualified leads and schedule high-value meetings for the senior sales team.
This position plays a key part in accelerating our growth and market penetration across hospitals, laboratories and healthcare networks in India.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Pipeline Growth
Make consistent cold calls to key decision-makers including clinicians, procurement heads, hospital
administrators, and laboratory leadership.
Run targeted outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and other sales engagement tools.
Use tailored messaging and scripts to build curiosity and spark initial interest.
Research accounts and stakeholders to personalize outreach.
2. Lead Qualification & Market Intelligence
Qualify leads using structured frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, or similar).
Identify prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making timelines.
Maintain accurate records and stage updates in the CRM system.
Capture relevant market insights, objections, and competitor positioning.
3. Appointment Conversion & Sales Handoff
Book and confirm meetings, demos, or discovery calls for the field sales or account executives.
Provide clear contextual notes to ensure smooth and effective handover.
Maintain communication cadence and follow-ups until the handoff is closed.
4. Performance, Reporting & Growth Contribution
Meet or exceed monthly targets for outreach activities, qualification, and meetings booked.
Track response rates, conversions, and opportunity contribution metrics.
Participate in feedback loops with marketing, product, and sales teams to refine strategies.
Engage in continuous learning for industry knowledge, product familiarity, and objection handling.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
1-3 years in inside sales / business development / telemarketing.
Proven succss in outreach or appointment setting.
Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce).
Familiar with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach, or SalesLoft.
Preferred: Experience in healthcare or medical sales.
Preferred: Knowledge of hospital procurement and lab workflows.
Skills required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi or regional languages are a plus).
Strong phone presence with confidence in cold calling and objection handling.
Ability to build rapport quickly and engage decision-makers professionally.
Proficiency in professional outreach channels such as email, LinkedIn messaging, and social engagement tools
Ability to qualify leads using structured frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC or similar).
Strong listening skills and ability to ask discovery questions effectively.
Good organizational and time-management skills with a process-oriented approach.
Comfortable working with CRM platforms and outreach automation tools.
