Key accountabilities & responsibilities:
Utilize materials and data provided to systematically connect with businesses in the given field/area to create potential business leads.
Develop a personal rapport with your customers to become a valuable resource for any item in the flexible packaging and printing field.
Have a good grasp of product information to recommend the best solution to a customer for their labelling or packaging requirement.
Carefully record/collect all information necessary to produce an accurate and timely estimate.
Narrate estimates so the customer has a clear understanding of the scope of work covered and the limitations of the activity to which Xpress Labels Private Limited is being contracted for.
Skilled at handling objections, offering alternative, making sure of prompt payment receivables, and closing the sale.
Adequately communicates the scope of the work and needs of the customer to the Production and Planning team.
Skilled at selling the customer value addition options of our products and services and not on low pricing.
Follows up on pending estimates, approvals, and receivables, and shall strive to always close transactions successfully.
Offers suggestions for more efficient marketing activity, marketing materials, and potential specials or events to promote.
Analyse the changes and trends in the industry and customer behaviour to stay ahead of competition.
Key skills and knowledge required: (i.e. those required to fulfil role, including qualifications):
4 to 8 years' experience in sales and business development
2 to 4 years of experience in printing, packaging, flexible packaging, label production, and marketing.
Strong communication, presentation, and people management skills
Neat, clean, and professional manners and appearance
Well organized, adaptable, and people person with excellent phone handling skills
Able to cross sell and up sell products and services
Knowledge and application of printing & packaging concepts is a plus
Able to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
Prompt, reliable, responsible, and high integrity on all transactions.
