The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team in daily operations, ensuring smooth order processing, client communication, and coordination with suppliers. The role also involves handling basic logistics tasks such as shipment coordination, documentation, and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of chemical products.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Coordination
Assist sales team with preparing quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Coordinate with clients for order confirmations, inquiries, and follow-ups.
Maintain and update customer database, sales records, and order tracking systems.
Handle routine correspondence with clients and suppliers.
Logistics & Operations
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouses for timely order execution.
Prepare and check shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, etc.).
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Administrative & Reporting
Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and logistics reports.
Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Provide support during audits and maintain proper filing of sales/logistics records.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree (Commerce/Business/Logistics/Chemical background preferred).
4-6 years' experience in sales coordination, preferably in chemical trading or related industries.
Basic knowledge of logistics, shipping terms (Incoterms), and documentation.
Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/CRM system skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
