We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Admission Counselor
to join our team. The role involves counseling prospective students about our courses and programs, guiding them through the admissions process, and taking ownership of lead conversion and enrollment targets. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a passion for education sales.
Key Responsibilities:1. Student Counseling:
Engage with prospective students through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
Provide detailed information about programs, eligibility, career opportunities, and institute offerings.
Guide students and parents through the complete admission and enrollment process.
2. Sales & Lead Conversion:
Follow up on inquiries and leads generated through digital campaigns, walk-ins, referrals, and outbound efforts.
Achieve monthly and quarterly student enrollment targets.
Maintain a high conversion rate from inquiry to admission.
Identify student needs and recommend suitable programs.
3. Reporting:
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on counseling activities, conversions, and follow-ups.
Track and analyze sales performance to meet targets.
4. Coordination & Support:
Coordinate with the academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission experience.
Represent the institute in education fairs, school visits, webinars, and promotional events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or sales roles (education sector preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office.
